How To Solve When Carpet Tile Meet Ink
We may have all had this experience. Either you dropped an ink pen, or stepped on one, and the ink was all over the place. Ink stains on carpet tiles are difficult to remove. Why? Ink contains chemicals like pigments, dyes, and lubricants, and the sooner you clean up the stain, the better. That way, the ink doesn't have time to soak into the carpet, making it more difficult to remove.
Soak up stains! If the ink is new, blot as much as possible with a light-colored rag. Be sure not to press the newly left stain any deeper! Dry stains need to be soaked in special alcohol for at least 5 minutes. Don't pour too much on the stain. Apply enough sunscreen to cover the stain and let it soak in about half an inch, which will penetrate the stain. Once soaked for a minute, take a clean rag and start wicking more ink from the stain.
